Straight hair can be a little tricky to maintain but getting this hair dryer seems to have helped bring volume and life back to my hair. I needed something that isn't as big but has the same power as any other hair dryer. This one caught my eye for those reasons and because it has the 3 cool heat settings you need to add volume. I usually start with one of the heat settings and since my hair is about 90% dry I finish with a cool setting until it's dry. It has helped style and reduce frizz and my hair looks visibly shinier. I've also found that after my first use with this hair dryer, I don't have to hold the hair dryer on my head for more than 5-7 minutes, which is by far the fastest hair dryer I've tried. My favorite attachment seems to be the diffuser because it not only gives my strands volume but also some texture. Combined with thermal protection and styling products, my hair looks almost as good as if I had been to the salon.
