Review on Ninja Foodi DT201 10-In-1 XL Pro Air Fry Digital Countertop Convection Toaster Oven With Dehydrate And Reheat, 1800 Watts, Stainless Steel Finish by Timothy Hughes

Ummm, this isn’t REALLY an air fryer.

Very happy with this purchase. I love Ninja products and this little OVEN saved Thanksgiving! It toasts bread really well too. However, the air fry and air roast (not sure about the diff there) are not what I was used to.I have a small air fryer that I continue to use for steaks. The Ninja does not air fry like I’m used to.I can cook two rib eyes total time 11 min in my small air fryer to perfection (med rare - medium). The Ninja didn’t put a dent in the steaks under the same settings.I would call this a convection oven. I still love it and use it almost every night for everything else.It is not an air fryer in the traditional sense, mainly because of its size? It’s too big.

Pros
  • The air fryer component allows for healthier cooking options, as less oil is needed to achieve crispy and delicious results
Cons
  • Potential for overheating if left unattended

Space saver! It replaces an old small toaster oven, a dehydrator and a bulky air fryer with a small capacity. I''m able to bake bread in the foodi without the top getting too close to the heat. I recommend getting the perforated parchment paper to use
