Setting up this dash cam was easy - just insert the included micro SD card, stick it to the windshield and plug it into a power source. It comes with a fairly long cigarette lighter power cable and a short USB to mini-B cable, whichever you prefer for power. With the default settings, the camera turns on when the car is turned on and starts recording. The default setting is loop recording, so you don't have to manually delete files regularly to free up disk space. If there is something worth keeping, there is a "quick lock" button that will mark that particular video file as non-erasable or overwritable. This is great for knowing you can continue to perform/record without worrying about deleting your recording or anything else that might happen. The wide viewing angle captures the entire field of view of the windshield when mounted high on the windshield. The price is more than fair for the video quality, sound quality, features (like loop recording, quick lock, auto on and record, etc.). The only thing I want is a rear view shot in case something happens behind my car.
