Review on πŸ’¦ Jebao DCP Sine Wave Water Return Pump (DCP-2500): Enhanced Performance in Sleek Black Design by Robert Johnson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Reliable shoes with pumps worth over $200

Some components appear flimsy and crudely made. However, everything fits together well. Very quiet. And adjustable speeds save energy. The controller is quite easy to use. It's been in use for almost a year now and works very well. I'm glad I bought it and it has served me well. There are no leaks at all. Supplied with glue joints which I used with regular PVC glue and primer. Be careful when sizing this pump for your tank. The GPH rating is generous and doesn't account for head feet (the height the pump needs to send water to), the flow rate decreases the higher it goes. All of this to say that it was perfect for my 100 gallon tank + 40 gallon sump. Update: 2 years in a row. There was a small leak so I took it apart to fix it. The main body O-ring failed and began to leak. Not the worst in two years, but the o-rings should last a little longer. I happened to be a water valve technician, so I had a spare on hand. After complete disassembly and cleaning of all engine components, it was no longer in new condition. After replacing the o-rings it worked the same as the day I first plugged it in. If I were you I would strongly recommend contacting the seller who is very friendly and helpful and asking for a replacement set of o-rings. And get some o-ring grease. In case you have the same problem. I personally will buy a second pump to have on hand. Reversible pumps break down or leak all the time. If you have the same part, you can buy a new one and buy parts for the old one. The fish can hardly wait for the 2-day delivery. I still give it 5 stars for that. You can buy 5 of them at the price of branded DC pumps. If this is your first time buying this, buy one more than you need. So you are always prepared for emergencies. I've seen other feedback on some of the MFG issues. They don't have a lot of quality control but they make up for it in the helpdesk. And for the guy who put tape on the o-ring πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ. ok man! The O-ring in the fitting seals, not the thread. Don't leave one star reviews because you don't understand the installation. Guys o-rings fail. Have a replacement! And check your gear often.
