In general the heater works as expected. It's getting hot enough to warm my bedroom. I took this type of heater because I needed it quiet. I'm a light sleeper and the heaters on and off keep me awake. This heater has a thermostat that makes a loud clicking sound every 4-5 minutes as the element turns on and off. Loud enough to hear through earbuds which is very frustrating. I was hoping it would stay on all the time and that you could just use the dial to adjust the wattage it draws like some pricier oil heaters. The other big complaint is the ugly stickers they put all over the interface. I understand they should put a bunch of warnings on it, but either make the stickers small or remove them. When I peeled off all the stickers it left large sticky spots on the heater which seriously spoiled its appearance.
