I chose not to use this chain tensioner on my setup as I have a very tight working envelope and I am concerned that loosening it will cause the chain to come loose from the frame. staff work for me I simply used the crowbar as a flathead screwdriver to tighten the large screw at the top of the slider as tight as possible and adjust the tension by moving the tensioner back and forth.
