When the pull chain on our pantry ceiling light broke, I replaced it with a brand new one that only had about three inches of pull chain! Rather than go through the hassle of powering the whole OLD house to remove the new appliance and return it, I decided to buy it as it came with a coupler to short it to the new appliance to connect. I'm glad I did! This new chain with a cylindrical chrome weight on the end makes the pull chain a much more stable target when reaching for it as the weighted chain doesn't wobble much when hit. The comfort alone makes this chain worthwhile, and the weight isn't so heavy that it acts like a bullet if it starts to wobble. I will be buying more of these for the closet and basement.
