Great risk of fire! I bought these cables and they were fine for about 4-5 months before my son started complaining about getting electrocuted when plugging in the unit. At first I didn't believe him, and then I passed out! I threw that away. Then today, 7 months after purchase, the cable sparked and started melting the plastic around the connector. These cords are poorly constructed and although used properly, they carried electricity to the point where the cord melted and almost started a fire in my house. Buyer warning!
