Easy to install and looks great. It's aluminum (not steel) with a solid black finish. Has a slightly rough texture. Again, this looks great. It's well designed. I was worried it would come in direct contact with the headlight lens causing dirt to collect, but it doesn't. As you can see from the photos, there is an air gap between the protective cover and the lens (probably polycarbonate). I am not for sale in terms of usefulness. I doubt it really protects the lens from damage as it's already somewhat embedded in the grille. If something damages the grille enough that the headlights are no longer recessed, the protection probably won't have much of an effect. It really looks like it came from the factory, so A+ for looks (when parked and someone looks at it up close). As other reviewers have written, just reuse the factory screws - they're long enough and easier to attach with a socket and ratchet than the included pan head screws (requires a hex key or screwdriver) which appear to be of good quality ( stainless steel). will). Overall pleased with the fit and finish of the installed product.
