These pedals are great! I bought a used spin bike and it only had pedals with toe clips but SPD shoes which I was spinning pre COVID when I went to the gym. My husband fell for it too and he didn't have spinning shoes. These pedals allowed both of us to use this bike the way we wanted. The thread tape sealed the installation. They will probably never come off! The non-contact SPD system in the pedal is pretty tight, but it only takes a little turning of the set screw to adjust. At first it was too tight for me to snap into place and at first I loosened it too much. The re-tightening gave me the right tension. Would recommend or buy again.
