This BioPEDIC knee pad is compact and soft. I've had knee pads that were identical and some were harder/firmer. I think the soft ones work really well and you don't have to wait for them to warm up to get softer like you do with the ones that are stiffer to begin with. I've slept and slept with them for a few nights and they continue to help. I can sleep well and without pain. Very happy with this BioPEDIC knee pad.
