Review on RCA CVBS AV to HDMI Converter - Mini Composite for VCR DVD | 720P 1080P Support by Andrew Schobinger

I must say that I am not satisfied with the product, although the seller was fast and the package was delivered on time. It does (little) what it is advertised to do. When I first connected I couldn't get it to work. I thought that maybe my HDMI cable or RCA cable was defective, so I tried several combinations of both and couldn't get a signal. I gave up and sat down and checked my phone when it worked about 10 minutes later! Well I was happy! So I put the device and cables behind the VCR it was plugged into and it turned itself off. Well, after some more "testing," I found that the slightest, I mean light, touch would lose the signal. Okay, no big deal I guess so I find him and wait for the signal and I start watching Young Frankenstein. Works well. Pretty pixelated and just poor image quality, but better than nothing. Well, in case you didn't know, it's a black and white film. The next video was in color and the signal and picture were terrible! A sort of ever-changing and moving system of rainbow lines running across the screen. Aside from those colors, the rest of the image was mostly black and white. In short, spend a few bucks more and get one that will hopefully perform better. I really hoped but let me down.
