I sit with a dog who is also my hiking companion. Overall she's holding up pretty well. But she likes to hunt squirrels. So I wanted to put something on her collar that would let me know where she was at all times and also give the squirrels (and other wildlife) a "warning" and let them know where she was. OK . The bells just aren't as loud as I was hoping. They are actually quite small. But I've put both sets on her collar and as long as she's within a few tens of yards I can tell where she is. So they do the job I bought them for. hardly.
