I have 2mm thick foam, about 2/3 the thickness. Oh what a difference! I am making Christmas ornaments and the styrofoam I bought earlier is too thick for some of the intricate patterns. This thickness is perfect! I bought 2 packs and they are the same thickness. I only have one caliper that measures .001", but the other blades are .08" thick and this one is .053. 1/3 thinner. You can feel the difference in flexibility and see how delicate and hard you can work. If you work on a laptop or use a cutting plotter, this may not matter to you. But flowers, jewelery and jewelery really make an impression with this thickness. Enjoy! Edit: Maybe I got lucky. Others seem to get different thicknesses. Both of mine are 1.34mm thick (I used a metric conversion to verify this). Less than 1mm thick would be too thin for anything but a little complicated work, and more than 2mm thick would be a disaster for most Christmas decoration designs. Hope you get the right thickness! Happy crafting!
