Review on Weaver Leather Professional Style Shank Sports & Fitness by Jaleel Akuffo

I've only had this bit for a few months and while the muzzle is starting to rust (as Sweet Iron should be) the black ones are steel cheeks too, which is NOT good. The connections are beginning to rust despite my cleaning and maintenance efforts. I have to lubricate them so they don't squeak with every use. I'm starting to wonder how long it will be before this piece becomes useless because the cheeks really have a sticky movement due to rust. I won't make the mistake of buying a moving jaw attachment if the jaws aren't stainless steel. I can buy a lure as balanced as this one with stainless steel jaws but at a lower price. Stainless steel cheeks look good longer and last forever. The only good thing I can say about this bit is that my horse seems to like it even though I don't like it. I would not recommend buying this bit. If you want one in this style I highly recommend checking out one of these.
