Updated 5/26/2019 Finally it turned out that the plastic tube in this kit snaps onto the original hard plastic tube that came with the original soap container. I also removed the filter element from the end of the hose in the detergent tank. Too strict. Now it works very well. The one-way valve keeps the soap in the top tube. You only have to download once. I diluted Dawn as it was a bottle of very thick and concentrated Dawn dishwashing liquid. I also like the zip bag it came in. We're still trying to attach it to the bottom of the pump. We tested it and it works great with water in the sink. There should be a diagram showing the one-way valve and how the arrow on the valve shows the direction of soap flow, i.e. towards the pump.
