I needed a good fork to hold on to, long enough and heavy enough to feel like I could eat the way I wanted and not slip because it was too short and was narrow. It's great, something you can touch and hold on to. I used to rummage through my fork drawer to find one that works and feels good, no more rummaging through salad forks and lean stuff, now I have 12 forks and can grab one and eat it bit by bit.
