Snap them onto your Cannondale hybrid bike for general tarmac and mud riding. The overall impression is that this is a great all-in-one tire that can handle most types of terrain, with the exception of things like mountain biking on loose gravel, mud and thick mud. They're great on tarmac, fast and pretty smooth. One thing I noticed is that they are louder than most road/gravel tires. I switched from the 4000 series Continental Grand Prix, which was smooth, fast and quiet on tarmac but didn't handle surfaces as well as steep dirt roads. Gravel tires handle loose dirt much better, but are a little louder on asphalt. Instead of the barely perceptible hiss of the Grand Prix, you hear a low hum as you drive.
