Good for light measurement, but not always reliable.
I am a real estate appraiser and bought this to measure the inside and outside of houses. This is one of the cheapest models, so it doesn't always work perfectly, but it's good for measuring light. It's supposed to work at heights up to 65 feet, but I've found that any distance over 40 feet can be difficult, especially in tall buildings. Although the measurement accuracy is very good. If you want/need to do light measurements without buying a high end instrument, this is a great option! However, if you are measuring large spaces and distances, it may be worth investing in a higher quality model.
