Review on 🔆 Feit Electric BPQ25/G9 25-Watt T4 JCD Halogen Bulb – Clear, 3000K Warm White – Bi-Pin Base – 1.75" H x 0.5" D by John Martin

I use it in the hood over the stove. They usually last a little less than 1 year if used an average of 2 hours a day. For me it's low. Price is good compared to Lowe's or Home Depot, less than $5 per bulb, I don't recommend it given the long lifespan. They heat up incredibly, which I suspect, combined with the location over the stove and the vibration of the hood when the fan is turned on, just burns through quickly. For the first time in 2 years I have finally decided to switch to LED versions which run much cooler and are also more energy efficient. They can be found at IKEA or Revain under the following article numbers. I have just ordered and have no experience yet - IKEA article number: 902.559.02 - continue searching "Weanas G9 Base 64 LED Bulb". UPDATE: I received the Weanas G9 Base 64 LED bulb today, unfortunately I was not able to install it in my cooker hood. The length and diameter of this lamp is slightly larger than the original. He didn't physically fit into the cramped space. However, I have used it on a lamp that also uses a G9 bulb. It worked very well. It feels warm, almost cool, which I like. I would recommend others to try the LED equivalent. Just remember that it will be a little more.
