It's pretty cheap plastic but functional. Installed for 8 months and not leaking. I'm sure that it will last my only major complaint is that the water flow COEXISTS I have installed them in both bathrooms and unfortunately the wall had to be exposed to install them so replacing is not an easy option I might consider replacing one of them. Generally it works, but I'm very disappointed with the cost. Might be something you could find in the post details, but to the average person, "gallons per minute" means little. Me read the review says the flow rate was ok but obviously not. If my old one hadn't been leaking it would still have flowed twice as much .
