Should work well in a professional kitchen! So yes, this speaker exceeded my expectations! Battery life is exceptional, with the speaker lasting between 14 and 16 hours a day and it still doesn't run out of power. The sound quality/volume is great for streaming baseball games and dead shows. They also tolerate heavy metals well. It's noisy! The rating is at a significantly lower level than other speakers in this price range. The build quality is solid, it's heavy and I love it! Didn't have a bracket or bottom threaded hole to mount on bikes? To be honest, I don't care, and I'm glad I don't. I'm not sure how waterproof it is and I won't test it in the dishwasher to find out (but that would be interesting). The buttons are clearly visible on the rubber stoppers, as are the non-slip rubber feet. Impressed with the overall fit and finish. The connection works as expected. Currently, streaming music from a phone in a house separated by two rooms to an outdoor speaker is estimated at 50 or 60 feet. Works perfectly! I really like this speaker!
