I've been using these Monoprice cables in building my pedalboard for over a year now, but it's only recently that I realized they have some sort of "mic" problem that lets noise through. I listened to my system and found that the audio on the line sounds like distortion, but it was just a hum from those cables when my squelch went out while playing. I ran some tests by touching the ends of these cables that I had connected to the pedals. It stopped beeping when I touched those wires but no other wires on my board. They are naturally durable; However, a little hum in your pedalboard won't affect your setup, but for other sound projects, not particularly pedalboards, they might be best.
