Description of Monoprice Premier Right Angle 16AWG Portable Audio & Video

This cable features 90-degree TRS/Stereo plugs on each end. It uses 16 AWG stranded, pure copper conductors and employs copper braid shielding with 97.5% coverage. The plugs are gold plated to provide smooth, corrosion-free connections as well as maximum electrical conductivity. With two separate conductors and the common shield ground, this cable can be used as an unbalanced stereo patch cable or as a balanced mono patch cable. Quality at a Fair Price: Monoprice's rugged design and rigid quality control standards deliver high quality products at fair prices.

Great cable at a great price.

My Raumfeld Stereo Cubes Wireless Streaming Speakers (pair, white) have a main speaker with amplifier and electronics, and the second speaker is just a speaker without its own power supply. It uses 1/4" connectors on either end of the cable to connect two cables and unfortunately the cable that came with it wasn't as long as I had hoped. It's okay, the standard cable is easy enough to get what I did with this cable. The connectors hold tight, the right angle keeps everything close to the wall…

Very high quality thick rubberized cables with gold plated connectors

These cables have a very high quality appearance. They demonstrate the quality of what you associate them with. The cable is approximately 1/4 inch in diameter, flexible and has a high quality rubberized finish. The plugs are gold-plated and made of very high-quality metal. I could only find them in the TS configuration. In most cases this is probably overkill to improve sound quality and they take up more space on a cramped pedal than thinner cables with plastic connectors. They weren't as…

Microphone issues (hum) Pedalboard setup.

I've been using these Monoprice cables for over a year building a pedalboard, but it's only recently that I've found that they have a "microphone" sort of problem that lets noise through . I listened to my system and found that the audio on the line sounds like distortion, but it was just a hum from those cables when my squelch went out while playing. I ran some tests by touching the ends of these cables that I had connected to the pedals. It stopped beeping when I touched those wires but no…

Good cable for the money

I usually keep in my gear bag for parts for a few days. And I mixed up a few things in my pedalboard setup. They are thick, well made, durable and flexible. Despite what you're paying for it, you're not getting quality Mogami or Belden wire. I can tell you Cheap cable, for lack of a better description, cheap. However, they are well made. I didn't have the dip or mic issues that many here are complaining about. Later on, and I've had mine for a few years now, they're starting to show such…

The treasure of the find. A little hard.

For some reason I had a very hard time finding a right to right cable longer than 3 feet. You'd think this would be pretty routine, but it's so rare that this reasonably priced one is a good buy. The connectors are VERY slim, attractive and high quality; They don't scream a generic name like Monoprice. The cable is very thick compared to others I have and not very sluggish or flexible (the lowest point of the cable). However, it is internally shielded and sound will pass through normally…

These cables are microphone cables.

Well, I was seduced by the low price and first-class delivery. Bought four of these pedalboard guitars, hooked them up and found they were all mics. Move the cable even a little and you'll hear a lot of crackling and hissing. Touch the cable and it sounds like you're tapping a microphone. Microphonics occurs when small voltages are generated when the cable moves or comes into contact with it. These voltages are amplified by the drive pedals, your amp, etc. This results in audible hissing…
