I bought these earphones looking for headphones that mimic the smooth surround sound of my Audio Technica A900X and they are absolutely real. If you're playing bass then this won't impress as the bass is present and satisfying but not discernible unless the track is mixed this way. If you're looking for big mids and sweeping highs, you probably won't like these either. be satisfied. I'm most impressed with the soundstage these headphones create and how they convey the true nature of the music they play. The voices also sound very natural and organic when watching movies with it. The build quality is above average, the headphones "good", the cable "good". The cable suffers from the mic (you can use the usual tricks to mitigate that) and the cable doesn't seem like the most reliable, but it's kind of a nitpick. The headphones themselves feel comfortable, the microphone works quite well. In general I am very satisfied. I was looking for a specific key and they fit it perfectly and everything else is icing on the cake.
