This screen protector is relatively easy to apply and looks great on the iPad, but lacks shock protection. I just replaced a cracked screen on one of our iPads and installed this "protector" without too much trouble. My son cracked the screen of his iPad within an hour. "Protector" was not injured in any way. I really think the hammer in the ad is misleading as this "protection" does not effectively protect the iPad screen (digitizer) in any way!
