Better than described! Bought a rounded corner espresso/black block which looks less shabby than a square block. Very happy with the overall quality and appearance. Everything is bolted, no hammer needed. Strong as a rock, won't wobble. The pipes may be plastic, but they're very strong: you'd have to drive a car over them to even dent them. I have no idea what everyone else has, but my unit was an easy buildable apple pie! Took me 10 minutes with coffee breaks. A 5-year-old can assemble a block. even without instructions. and blindfolded! The only thing that bothered me was the size. I knew what the sizes were when I bought it and needed this size. But it wasn't until I put it together that I was really impressed by how neat this unit is! I was shocked how small it really was. (hence the 4 star rating) Would I give it more than a 24 inch flat screen? No! Sure, it's sturdy enough to handle much larger TVs, but it would look really odd. ! (You name it so more people will buy it) Shelves with bells and whistles?
