Review on πŸ“¦ Rancco Anti Static Bags: 55 Mixed Sizes ESD Shielding Bag with Labels for Electronic Devices by Mark Jefferson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good grade; Superb Quality

Rancco ESD Bags: $15.99 at the time of writing I have been my family and friends' "computer guy" for over 20 years. This type of anti-static packaging is one of those things I never would have thought of (I've salvaged it over and over again from other electronics I've bought). It's time to ditch those old torn bags of other gear. The packaging is a simple clear bag (I heard you like bags, so I put your bags in a bag). But there's nothing wrong with that. There is a wide range of sizes, including standard pockets for the most common electronics (2.5" laptop hard drive, 3.5" desktop hard drive, etc.) as well as larger pockets for larger items like a graphics card. The only thing you might have trouble with is installing a larger motherboard. They also come with ESD sensitive warning stickers which is a nice touch. In the interest of full disclosure, I have not attempted to test the ESD properties of the bags. I believe Rancco has created a good, functional product. For what it's worth, I've used three of these packs to ship refurbished hard drives to friends and family and have had no complaints. The last thing I will address is the cost. At $0.30 a pack, they're very reasonable. Most branded resealable freezer bags cost more! -------------*Good*: Good quality, inexpensive anti-static bags in a wide range of sizes *Bad*: Nothing. . I am very happy with this order * Conclusion: * I should have ordered these bags many years ago. I don't like to rely on used bags from other devices. The quantity and variety of pockets is excellent. 5 out of 5 stars for a great product. I would order again although it will take a while to use up 55 packs :)
