First of all, do not attempt to box a Sundown 10" SD-4 in this box unless you intend to heavily modify it. The opening of their 10" box is 9.125" and the hole is for a 10" box required. The SD-4 measures 10.94 inches. Good Good. Nothing my router can't handle. The next problem was the installation depth. Although this is a flat mount subwoofer, it was about half an inch taller than the magnet that hit the bottom of the box. Again, there's nothing a little router work can't do. I cut a half inch out of the backing for the magnet to sit in (all the auxiliary cooling on this model is with side vents). The box may have loosened, but not the choice. Finally the sub is screwed into the box and ready to try. Air rushes out of the clamp fittings with a bass thump.. No, the router can't fix that, but the RTV silicone tubing can! Gobb Silicone around the cheap plastic connector inside the box, and now it's finally airtight. In summary, the installation wasn't their fault, I just want to warn anyone trying to fit an SD-4 subwoofer here, which is what they're getting into. However, cheap clamps and especially their sealing are their fault. The rest of the box appeared to be of decent quality. For that 3 stars.
