The included connector cup is not "nickel plated on five sides" but a cheap plastic wire trap that leaks. The seams are not taped, not even taped. And they miss a lot too. The box also comes with a large metal emblem on the front. The price also just went up from $60. This is a terrible waste of time and money.

I received this box because the description said it was 4.5 inches deep. I installed a subwoofer (Rockford Fosgate R2D2-10) that required 4.3" mounting space and the subwoofer hit the floor. I was able to put in a subwoofer, so to speak. The box and the processing quality make a very solid impression.

Auxiliary box as stated - installation depth is correct - some boxes are oddly shaped or cut out to claim greater depth but this one hasn't. The construction is very strong and durable, and the terminals are a quick and easy push-button cylinder (no threads). I put the JL Audio 10TW1-4 in the box and it fitted perfectly. The price of $40 is worth it.

I like the overall design of this case. I have it for Converted the launcher by adding some "legs" to the front baffle of the fuselage.I loaded it with a Rockford Fosgate 10"p3s. The only thing that caught my attention were the speaker terminals. They don't seem to be of the highest quality. But when they fail, it's not hard to swap them out for a better version.

What I received was a well built 3/4 inch MDF cabinet. Knowing beforehand that my sub was 1/4-1/2" too wide to fit in and that I would have to enlarge the opening; happily spent Sunday afternoon cutting out the factory opening enlargement template. Before doing anything with this one I made the box I scattered it I kicked it I dropped it and moved it I recommend this subwoofer to everyone.

Sounds great. I installed a kicker in it and had to add a 3/4" extension ring to get the kicker to fit. I had to do that, but I didn't have clearance. So (not recommended) I honed a small area with a forstner bit. It was a circle about 6" in diameter and only 1/4 to 3/8" deep. This was the gap for the speaker magnet. I'm sure there is a 10" subwoofer that will fit, but I already had a kicker and was in a hurry. Definitely I would buy a ring just in case. You can return it at any time.

More than surprised by that. The connections are STRONG, as is the attachment on the back. Lots of glue and precise angles. ...I figured it would need for my 10s, but turns out they were right! It knocks and I have 2 that split 1200 watts into a couple of 10s so rated 350 watts, the peak is significantly higher. First of all, do not attempt to box a Sundown 10" SD-4 in this box unless you intend to heavily modify it. The opening of their 10" box is 9.125" and the hole is for a 10" box required. The SD-4 measures 10.94 inches. Good Good. Nothing my router can't handle. The next problem was the installation depth.
