I have a rescued American Pit Bull Terrier that weighs about 60 pounds and has not been neutered. She came into heat before we could neuter her. I chose these diapers 1) b/w :) 2) based on other reviews 3) b/c the velcro straps seemed to have more room which would allow for a more customized fit. 4) I liked that the soft part of the velcro wraps around the back which again gives the impression that I have more room to adjust if needed. I bought the large one which seems to fit her perfectly in general. My problem is twofold. 1. The velcro end on the strap is not very big. I really wish they had expanded this part for a tighter and more adjustable fit. See Figure 2. This causes them to slide down - very hard. hanging boxes. This causes her some discomfort at the front of her thigh. Maybe add extra padding around the elasticated legs and tail? See photos. One photo shows the sagging boxes and the other after I pulled them out. In general everything is fine. I'm not sure if other diapers have fixed these issues or not. Although they require constant tightening, they work well for keeping the mess going. I haven't washed them yet but I like that they can be washed. She gets along very well - just compliment them and tell them how cute they look. Sometimes they seem to bother her a bit, but usually it happens when they are too tight or fall off. They go quite well with their tails - I can't think of a dog with a big tail that would comfortably carry them there.
