I replaced one that failed in two years and this one was easy to install. We use 3 way LED bulbs and they seem to be working fine. I have some reservations about durability as it can be difficult to spin so I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Will be updated if it's excellent or fails in the future. Update 15/04/20 Yes, it broke pretty quickly considering the lamp is only used once a day or so. I think two years or less might be the limit for these switches, so downgraded to three stars for durability failure. I bought another one as it only takes a few minutes to replace and is probably cheaper than a new bulb. Please note that the screw on the socket may not fit all lamps. I had to use the old base so it could be used with our lamp, but the new switch and cover fit the old base perfectly.
