Replaces an old vacuum circuit breaker in less than 5 minutes

I would have given 5 stars if the instructions weren't misleading. You add steps that are completely unnecessary. Why do they want you to remove the toilet from the trailer? I guarantee you that if a competent RV mechanic did the job, they wouldn't waste their time. Of course, if the installer has no dexterity at all or isn't user-friendly at all, yes, follow the instructions. Don't even turn off the water, it's held by the pedal. All I did was use a couple of sewer locks and blindly look for the clamp on the short hose that runs from the vacuum interrupter to the toilet. Place the tool on the clamp with your fingers, open the clamp and slide towards the bowl, do not rotate the clamp until it is loose. Now you can move the vacuum breaker to the wall to see the bottom intake pipe and remove this clip. Have a towel handy to catch about 1/3 cup of water from the vacuum tube and hose. Now install the new vacuum interrupter in reverse order, first attach the lower tube (fasten clamp), then press against the shell on the short tube. (Make sure the hoses are fully seated) Take your time to change the clamp from the vacuum breaker to the toilet, feel you have the correct position of the duct lock. When opening the clamp, use the fingertip of your free hand on the opposite side of the channel locks to hold the clamp in place while pushing the channel locks through the tube. I made it in less than 5 minutes, first try. Works great with no leaks. Just make sure the clamps are installed correctly. Check for leaks. Then, after the next few uses, check for leaks periodically to ensure there are no minor leaks.
