This dark brown chair has been lightened on the headrests, perhaps from oil sweat on the hair. I used a jar of the darkest color without mixing. In the photo after a single application directly from the bottle with the enclosed sponge. I'll probably reapply it because I can still see a lighter finish, but first I want to make sure it lasts and doesn't rub off. So far, so good.
