These are beautiful cufflinks, don't get me wrong but the description is misleading. Although the cufflinks are made from genuine watch components, you cannot wind them mechanically as the description states. 1 small gear can be manually controlled to spin forwards and backwards independently of the other components, but even then it's a few seconds at best and definitely doesn't give anywhere near a clockwork effect. I also spent an extra $10 for a "display" box and it doesn't fit the link size at all and there's no place to put cufflinks upright, it's just an empty box with plenty of room to keep knick-knacks. I'm keeping them as it's a Valentine's Day gift for my SO and I don't have time to look for a new gift. If you're buying these links for general aesthetics you'll probably be happy, but if you're expecting a mechanical item or gift worth presenting, save your money and look elsewhere.
