Client had a major home renovation. When it was off there was a lot of low voltage work done on the studs in the house. Many drops have been closed for some reason. Years go by and ethernet drops are needed where they said there should be wires in the walls. 22 end ethernet ports in media room. 6 ready wall cases to start with. After 3 hours we found all 16 cables, 13 inside the house and 3 outside the house for future cameras. Use headphones as it makes a big difference. We were able to identify the cables behind the wood and drywall. IMHO this device saved hours and hours of time. The standard toner was NOT able to accommodate these cables behind a tree. Now I always have one of these in my box. Update I used this again elsewhere to find a hidden low voltage wire behind a wall. This device has saved me a lot of time. If it breaks tomorrow (and I hope not), it was worth it.
