I needed a mini projector to display a web page from my laptop or iPad that interacts with a laser and camera phone, but I didn't want to spend a lot. I found this projector and, ignoring the "kids" marketing, I found a lot of value in this little guy. Now that I have a projector I have found the following: 1. It is perfectly powered by my Ravpower power bank. No problem, just plug it in. How cool is that? Time for some family videos in the woods.1. It's small and light! Easily carried in a backpack for overnight campers.2. The brightness is definitely much brighter when plugged in. Maybe even 50% brighter. A very noticeable difference, so I would recommend using an outlet as much as possible. The closer you place the projector to the surface, the brighter the image will be, but also dimmer. The distance I could place against a wall and still get a sharp image was about 2 feet, giving a 1.5 foot image. But the brightness definitely surprised me! There's a small speaker on the back of the projector that can get really loud, in a good way. It's obviously not a Bose stereo, but it does its job well without the need for an external speaker (although there's a headphone jack for just that, but no Bluetooth connectivity). Use the included remote control to adjust the volume.4. The remote control is very responsive (and required for many menu items in the settings, as the projector itself doesn't have up and down arrows, only left and right arrows). The remote control requires 2 AAA batteries, which are not included with this product.5. There is a small screw mount (standard size) on the bottom of the projector for a tripod. I recommend buying a small, cheap tripod so you can easily adjust the projection angle. Remember that there is no keystone correction here.5. I've gotten my Roku Stick, Chromecast, and Apple TV to work through the HDMI port with no issues. Just plugged it in again and switched the source to HDMI. Looks fantastic and sounds fantastic. With both Chromecast and Apple TV, I was able to wirelessly cast my iPhone and iPad screens to a projector. Super comfortable! 6. Image quality and brightness will not compete with a more expensive projector. The edges of the projected screen were noticeably darker and fuzzier than the center, but nothing detracted from the immersive experience when playing media. I really enjoyed using this little projector! All in all, you can't beat the price and features of this little projector. I mean it works great, but if the kids drop it or hypothetically it stops working after a few years, you're only losing a fraction of the value of a regular projector. I highly recommend!
