I bought this usb-c hub to use with my M1 MacBook Air because I did not like the idea or of having multiple adapters or a hub connected with a cable that dangles off of the computer. This usb adapter looks great on the computer, it worked great as well. The only issue that I had and the reason I had to return it because it does not work unless I take the bottom part of my lap top case off. It does not go all the way in if the case is on.

I really like this adaptor. It is sleek and matches the space gray color and thickness of my new Macbook. I really like that the lower portion has a light that ignites when the adaptor is successfully connected to your device. Personally, I always remove the adaptor when I want to pack my laptop up/move around spaces a lot because I am fearful of breaking the usb connectors off, but if it weren't for that fear I would probably leave the adaptor plugged in all the time!Also, the adaptor does not

I was looking for a docking station for my Dell laptop that had increased connectivity for two HDMI monitors, along with plenty of USB ports. The Dell docking stations just have one HDMI port and not that many USB ports. In addition, it needed to have the USB-C connector. This performs great, both monitors are working great, 4 USB devices plugged in and working. The Dell power cord, which used to plug into the Dell laptop now just plugs into the docking station. I'm very happy with it!

I must just say that my not giving it 5 stars is only related to what I consider room for improvement. The product functions perfectly, and given that you can pay about the same price for a single USB A-to-USB C dongle, or pay much more for a practically identical product to this, it is a breathtaking tech value. That said, I began to sit on it one day by mistake, and while nothing broke, it did give me reason to worry that some day, an accident could really mess this device up. My gravest fear

This product is fantastic for the newer computer. I purchased a less expensive one at a store and returned it immediately. This one is perfect!

The device fits on the side of your Macbook, but it is not a snug/secure fit. Any movement unplugs the device. If you have a hard drive attached it can ruin the hard drive or your data.i.e I had a USB-C LaCie drive attached. I moved the drive from beside my laptop to behind the laptop and the device became unplugged and corrupted my lightroom import.

This is a great item for my Mac. It looks sleek when attached. The only issue is, unfortunately is that if you have a protective cover or case it will not fit snug and works as described. I will have to partially cut the side off for it to fit.

I had a dongle style adapter but only had one USB port so I wanted a new adapter with multiple USB ports and HDMI. This one fit the bill. I got it and installed it but it wouldn’t plug in because I have a hard cover on the lid and the bottom of my MacBook to protect it from scratches. Needless to say, I had to remove the bottom portion of the hard protective cover in order for this adapter to plug in to the side of my Mac. Great adapter. Solid material and build used it for months now with no problems. I use it for my mouse and keyboard to plug in. Since my mac needs the Bluetooth dongle for my mouse it travels with me everywhere. Loses a star as I can’t use it with my computers protective case. Not so much the adapters fault tho. Other then that a grade A product.

Works but beware if you use a case on the bottom half. You have to remove it before using this which is a pain. If you use a case there are adapters with a short usbc cable instead.

I have had the most difficult time finding a case and adapter that work together for this MacBook. As a recent convert to Apple products, I have found that many of the off-brand accessories are somewhat lacking in their quality. It connects to my mac pro pretty quickly and given that I only use it to connect it to my printer, it does that job very well. Just an fyi, if your mac has a bottom case, you need to remove it or hold the hub manually as even the smallest gap will stop it from functioning. It makes sense as it can help stop some form of surcharge if you are using it to charge as well. Had this for a few months now. I got it for my son's new 2020 MacBook Air. We have not used any ports but the USB ports so far, so I don't know if the SD card or HDMI ports are any good, but I'll go ahead and rate on what I know. We have had absolutely no issues with using USB flash drives or wired or wireless mice with the adapter. Is just what I needed for my 2020 MacBook Pro. I wish the fit in the USB-C ports was a little "tighter” since it seems pretty loose and wiggles a lot. Otherwise, perfect!

Since the Mac book pro only has "two" plug ins, we previously used a similar device that only plugged into one of the two outlets. When we attached a scanner, it overwhelmed the single port and would not pick up the scanner. Now with the new "double plugin" the device works great and the scanner work as it should.

After using this adapter, it has unplugged from my laptop and ejected my flash drives incorrectly causing my flash drive to not work properly. But the seller’s customer service has been kind enough to offer a refund and I plan to use their company again. Sometimes their might be a defective product, but every company does their best to ensure their products reach us in timely and safe ways.

Works as expected. Clips neatly onto the side of my MacBook Pro and all ports tested work well enough. However, my Mac is running hot and the device heats up quite a bit as well. I moved the USBC Mac power cable to the right side and plugged the multi-adapter into the left side, it still runs hot. Not sure if this is going to be an issue for the Mac or the device in the future as it's only been used for a week.

Plug in needed to be a little longer to accommodate laptop covers. Have to take off cover to use.,,,,Thays not good ! Otherwise…… device worked perfectly!
