Review on 🐠 Tetra Curved-Front Tank: Experience Tranquility with LED Crescent Aquarium Kit by Patricia Casillas

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The lid shakes, the filter is a bit noisy, but good for beginners

I've had the tank for about 48 hours. My little Betta loves it! Good size but takes up space. Lots of space for decoration inside. I was wary of the filter at first because my fish is very small and the current throws it up a bit but it seems that you get used to it and the filter makes a big difference so I think it's probably worth it. If you put enough plants/decorations in the aquarium, the fish will find a small hiding place where there is no current. I don't like it when my cock hides behind the filter; I've seen reviews of other filters (but not this one) where the tap gets stuck between the suction cups on the back of the filter. I haven't had this problem yet, but I wish there wasn't so much space behind it. The filter is a bit noisy. I wanted to turn it off at night but all the fish care sites say it's a bad idea so I guess I'll get used to it. I love the LED light that comes with the tank, it makes it very pretty. In addition, as all reviews say, the lid shakes. My fish is so small that it doesn't get a chance to jump out, but one wrong move and the lid can fall into the tank. I've also noticed that when the lid is closed, condensation forms between the water stop and the top of the tank. I don't like it but it helps when I try to heat it up. Overall I like this tank. I think this is a good little starter kit. It's true my betta seems a lot happier with this whole room - it's gone from one gallon to five. I give her a life of luxury.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Useless functions
