Soft, plush and just what I wanted! It arrived quickly and well packaged, with ends covered in protective fabric and an elasticated lining in the shape of a shower cap. It rolled over and lay flat except for the last 2 inches or so which was flat in the morning. There was a bit of a chemical smell but it dissipated quickly and wasn't bad enough to bother us as we slept in the same room the night we got the carpet. It also had a note from the company saying they pay attention to detail and how important customer service is (nice touch) and they mean business because I actually sent myself 3 FREE SAMPLES before I settled on any color have decided. Speaking of colour. Color fidelity: When comparing the samples sent to me: white, silver and dark grey, I decided on dark grey. BUT when I received it the rug was actually MUCH DARKER than the sample they sent me! I actually liked it better, but it's almost black, which is a very big difference, so BEWARE! *See Photo* Compared to other rugs: This one (a one-of-a-kind loom from the Snow White 4' x 6' Terrycloth Collection) was so cheaply made I could see the backing through the surface! It also claimed to be white but was yellowish white and had a slippery underside that required grabbing the carpet underneath. The rug is beautiful and the backing is textured so I don't use a rug grip underneath. Anyway, after weeks of looking for a good rug, this rug finally had the softness, softness, thickness, slip resistance, color and price I wanted!
