Some shortcomings with storage and accessories

That's fine, but I've been trying to find boards that are as rigid as the ones I played with as a kid (even though they were a brick tall) and they still have some flexibility, although not as strong as modern Lego baseplates. When you put the two together you end up with a pretty stiff board, so that's what we're doing right now. For some reason we also found that some of the wider lego pieces were extremely difficult to attach to the boards. It's hard to make anything 100% compatible with Lego, and this comes close. For simple standard height blocks this shouldn't be a problem, but it becomes more difficult when blocks are 1/3 high and very wide as the tolerances get tighter.
