Having used these shoes for two CrossFit workouts I am very pleased with the fit and performance. At first I was worried that they would be too tight in the toe box or not fit my feet well enough, but they are comfortable in the first respect and snug and confident in the second. So far the biggest adjustment has been the minimal heel drop. I've worn running shoes to every workout in my life, so stepping onto concrete pavement 20 minutes before my CrossFit class requires a little adjustment, with each step resulting in an audible but faint thumping sound of my toes as they land. . It could also be due to the stiffness of the sole, not enough to be an issue but enough to make a change in stride noticeable. The ankles were also a bit strained by the different gait, but that wasn't a problem either. While I wouldn't recommend using them for long-distance walking or running, they felt solid and secure during "sweaty" workouts that included both weightlifting and laps of the track. They also feel well ventilated and don't put unwanted pressure on any points on my feet. Well recommended and currently available at a very reasonable price on this site.
