Because the leash was only enough for a week. Little Boo, a Portuguese Water Dog puppy, was once chewing on a large strip when I was tying a leash on my other dog. It only took him about 45 seconds to rip the skin so badly that I feared if he pulled it he'd snap the thing in half and he'd run down our street and possibly onto the freeway. I had to throw it away. Silly me. I didn't remember the name of this thing and came across this ad again and was about to buy it again when I realized it was the leash that Boo ate the second or third time I used it. I don't think I'll get him back even though he's professionally trained now and will probably come home well-behaved. We will see.
