These mats work as well as Cricut original at a much better price. Initially the stickiness even on the "light" mat was too strong and I had some difficulty removing some of my creations. I had to use the scraper and really peel slowly to make sure not to damage the cut outs. Now that I've used it several times, the grip is relaxing so removal is easier. The Cricut mat has stayed functional for a really long time. I haven't used the off-brand set for that long yet so not sure about duration of use but for the price, it's worth it as back up.
- You need these to operate the cricut. Good value.
