Review on 3M 499 Fiberglass Cloth by Raymond Vogel
Durable yet lightweight!
Good material. I needed a woven fiberglass that could flow in, out and around the contours of the boat's transom and stringer connections, just the right thickness for the job. 3 layers of 3M polyester resin and a few smaller pieces of 24oz fabric to reinforce the corners gave me the strength I needed but kept it thin and light. Thank you Rewin!
- For use with Bondo fiberglass resin for a permanent waterproof repair
