This is the second time I have bought this umbrella. I live in the Texas Cancer Belt. This umbrella had reflective material on the inside and nice pattern on the outside. Before that I used regular umbrellas to protect myself from the sun, but I felt the heat hit me while I was underneath. As for me, I feel like I'm losing less heat with this umbrella. My last one lasted all of last year and should have lasted longer but my two little ones got on with it. He broke the plastic part of one of his arms. My main complaint is that the tip on the handle is too short to fit around the wrist. It is short and appears to have been made only to be hung on a hook. No bueno when my hands are full with two babies. Edit: Newer versions of these umbrellas now have a larger strap. I can stretch out my hand. But still not flexible.
