UPDATE 2014-09-27: I've used these anti-static sheets for 3 winters. According to the product description, they are designed for more than 500 cycles. Considering I've been happy with them for so long I'll replace them this winter if needed and improve my rating from four stars to five. A pleasant surprise is that the current price of $14.99 is 51 cents less than what I paid in 2011 underwear. I add vinegar to my washing machine's rinse cycle, which helps with static electricity a bit, but it's not enough. I've tried dryer balls and haven't noticed a difference. I was skeptical that these sheets would make a huge difference to our winter static problem, but they are there. Items that would normally be a sticky, sizzling mess — flannel sheets, fleeces, fluffy robes — become more tame with use. Static electricity is completely eliminated for medium-sized objects. Fleece and flannel, the most static-prone dry fabrics, are still static-prone but much handier. I've been using this product several times a week for about 4 months and I'm glad I found it.
