. The good thing is that they are really bright and have a solid light pattern once installed. Now for the bad: the wiring harness is just two wires with sliding connectors on the ends that cannot be used with a factory connector. So you'll have to cut the factory plug and the sliding plugs and splice the wires together to make it work. It was easy to do but I found it odd that they didn't have an easier solution than they already have. The instructions are also useless as they apply to the snap-on connector bulbs you find on most cars. Second, the tip of the LED bulb won't fit through the hole in the headlight assembly because it's too wide. So I had to grind down the ends with a grinding wheel to match them, which again looks like a problem that could be solved in an R&D process. Overall I'm very happy with the end result, but I feel that the installation process at the factory could have been simplified. Admittedly, Kia has an odd arrangement of high beam bulbs, but having bought a few sets of auxiliary light bulbs for my other cars and having fallen in love with them, I was disappointed that I had to 'modify' the bulbs just to fit the hole. and connected, which is why they don't get five stars from me.
