How could anyone give this cable 1 or 2 stars? Maybe you want a more rigid design? Maybe the thicker strands in the insulation give more resistance? Or do they need to add more resistance to the wire in general because the resistance in that wire is 0? And of course we need the resistor so we can heat the wire and melt the insulation. Please forgive my sarcasm, but seriously, some people just shouldn't be writing reviews for Revain. I just had to apologize. However, this wire is fine. As good as you'll get for a car audio system or anything else that requires 4 gauge wire. It's slightly thinner than a true 4 gauge because it's better to be too thin than too thick.
