I had an annoying ticking coming from my truck and was told it was a lifter (180k miles) and was told it was one of my lifters. I was also told that I would need to replace the lifter of the engine. I put this product in on my last oil change hoping it would work. For about 3 weeks, I didn't see any improvement, but this past week, the noise was gone. I saved a ton of money as I was getting ready to take it to the shop to get some work done. I would suggest maybe adding this as maintenance versus before you need it.
